Game of the Month

Newly released and recommended by Tony Whitehouse of Lancashire, Broken Sword: The Angel Of Death on PC is currently keeping his thumbs busy.

George and Nico are back on another Indiana Jones type treasure hunt in the fourth instalment of the Broken Sword Legacy. This game is an improvement on the third (though I did enjoy the third as well, in a basic way) this is mainly because it's gone back to mouse control. Though much of the bright and cartoonish nature of the first three has gone this is still a worthy sequel. The puzzles are tougher and the twists near the end are rather surprising. But, apart from the first three, this instalment has a slightly bitter ending - and that's all I'll give away. Otherwise a great game in the point-and-click genre and - hopefully - they'll make a fifth instalment.
